Chiefs set to extend Nkhatha stay

Johannesburg - Kingston Nkhatha will reportedly extend his stay with Kaizer Chiefs for a further year with his current deal set to expire in July 2015.

According to Soccer Laduma, the striker’s place in the side has come under some scrutiny by the Amakhosi fans despite him contributing two goals and two assists already this season.

The 28-year-old penned a three-year deal when a he signed from Black Leopards and has gone on to feature regularly for the Soweto giants.

It is reported that the Naturena club is set to extend his stay by a further year but this new deal will depend on the status of his permanent residency.

Kaizer Chiefs are in action on Saturday, September 20 when they face Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium for the right to take home the MTN8 Cup.  

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:15.
