AmaZulu announce squad shake-up

Durban - Absa Premiership side AmaZulu have announced a number of changes to their squad ahead of the new season, with players released, leaving on loan and transfer-listed.

Striker Menzi Ndwandwe and attacking midfielder Skhumbuzo Mazibuko, who were loaned out to Uthongathi and Real Kings respectively last season, have both been released as free agents.

Midfielder Lungelo Dlamini and defender Sibongiseni Mthembu will have their chance to gain some game-time elsewhere as they have been loaned to Royal Eagles and Uthongathi respectively.

The Durban-based side have also announced that six players are available for transfers - goalkeeper Mpendulo Dlamini, defender Simphiwe Mtsweni, and midfielders Zola Jingxi, Boysen Mbatha, Nkanyiso Zungu and Zaakir Williams.

Usuthu have signed veteran goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs, defender Marc van Heerden, midfielder Nhlanhla Vilakazi and striker Emiliano Tade ahead of the new campaign.
