City are just clearing the ball and keeping it away from their goal. Watford are buzzing with action and attack, the crowd cheering them on.

Suddenly the game has come alive with the crowd cheering their home side. Jesus is being replaced by Laporte for City.
CHANCE! Almost another goal for Watford, but the keeper does well. Holebas with the corner and Deeney gets a head to it but does not get enough on the ball to trouble the keeper.
GOAL, WATFORD, DOUCOURE! 1-2: Doucoure scores! It wasn't a pretty goal as Doucoure makes hard work of it. He heads it down first and then gets lucky with his kick to tuck it in. The crowd cheers on.

Save! Brilliant save from Foster after Mahrez does really well to control the ball and then shoot a fierce shot towards the goal.
Cathcart heads Sane's corner out for another corner.
We are going into the final 10 minutes of the game and City look comfortable with their lead. They are looking to score their third goal.
Success is being replaced by Gray as Watford make another change.
Save! Ederson with another save as Watford look to attack more. Success with the pass to Doucoure who shoots for goal, but the keeper keeps the ball out.
David Silva is coming off and Gundogan is coming on for City.
Good free kick and Success tries to head the curling ball towards the goal but the keeper makes a comfortable save. Ederson has also had a good game for City tonight.
Brilliant pass from Mahrez as he feeds the ball through three defenders to Jesus. Jesus fails to finish well as Foster comes out of his goal.
Success with a curling effort, it is not a bad one, but it does not trouble the keeper as it goes wide.

Poor pass in the end from Jesus, he does really well to get at the end of Silva's pass but does not manage to find space to shoot. Almost too easy for City as they dominate possession.
Close! Brilliant ball out wide for Mahrez who shoots, gets a deflection and goes behind for a corner. Watford manage to clear the corner with ease.
Offside! The flag is up as Sane runs through to collect the pass from Jesus.
Watford get the ball deep in the City half for just a few seconds before they are dispossessed and the threat is cleared.
GOAL, MANCHESTER CITY, MAHREZ! 0-2: What a goal! He was a record signing and he is proving his worth. The ball is driven across the goal by Jesus, Mahrez calls for it and drills it past the keeper. Brilliant goal!
Hughes comes back on the pitch after just going off.
A short stoppage in play as Hughes is down and is getting some treatment. He looks like he is going off.
City on the attack straightaway but Watford manage to clear the ball.

HALF-TIME: WATFORD 0-1 MANCHESTER CITY. City were made to wait, with Foster making a few good saves, but eventually they found a way through. Sane's goal gave them lead and one goal separates the two sides after the first half.
Mahrez has had a great first half so far for City. He has been given too much space on the right and has made the most of it.
GOAL, MANCHESTER CITY, SANE! 0-1: They have waited and waited, and now they take the lead. Mahrez with a brilliant cross to Mane and he beats Foster to score and take the lead.
Offside! Silva is caught offside as City look to attack in the box. The flag goes up and Silva is not happy with the decision.
Watford are going through a lot of work in the midfield and City are not able to make all that possession count with a goal.
Chance! Big chance for Watford and Deeney as he looks to tuck the ball into the goal but Ederson makes a big save.
Jesus accelerates from the left in the box but Foster makes another brilliant save. The Watford keeper is having a good game.
We are at the half hour mark and Watford have managed to keep the score to 0-0. Just 15 minutes remaining in the first half.
City players pass the ball around in their own box very comfortably as they see off a Watford threat. The score remains on 0-0.
Silva works the ball on the right wing and then loops it into the box. Foster comes out of his goal to make another brave save.
A simple save in the end for the City keeper as Chalobah tries a long range attempt, but his shot is a weak one.
Watford have survived a few scares in this half so far. They will be happy with a 0-0 scoreline at half-time. City will want to score.
City are adding a lot of pressure in the box and they have a few players there to trouble the keeper. Foster does well again as the closes down Mahrez.
Ironic cheers from the crowd as City are caught offside and the flag goes up. Watford are hanging on to the 0-0 scoreline.
