Goal! City double their lead! The Belgian feeds Silva in the box who cut unto his right foot, however De Bruyne had made the run and took the ball away from his team mate as he smashed the ball near post from an angle. Man City 2-0 West Ham.
Close! Silva cuts in on his favorite left foot and looks to bend one into the far corner, but it goes narrowly over the bar.
WIDE! Aguero has a shooting opportunity but, from a tight angle, he fires wide of the far post.
CHANCE! De Bruyne plays a delicious pass in behind the West Ham defence for Walker, who gets to the byline.
The full-back cuts the ball back in search of Aguero but Fabianski ticks out a boot to make a crucial intervention.

CLOSE! Rice strides forward before laying the ball off to Antonio. The forward fizzes a dangerous ball across the face of goal but neither Rice nor Snodgrass can get on the end of it.

CHANCE! A chance for West Ham as the away side win the ball back high up the pitch. Antonio has time and space to pick out a cross but the the ball is played behind Soucek and the chance disappears.

City should have had a penalty. Aguero was one-on-one with Fabianski and was blatantly pulled back by Diop, however he was flagged for offside. Upon looking at the reply it seemed as though he was onside. That's poor from VAR.
Another huge chance for Jesus! But it doesn't seem as though he wants to score? This time it's De Bruyne who puts him in and it's only the 'keeper in front of him, but he takes too long and the recovering defender holds him up.
Save! Jesus breaks clear and carries the ball up field. He feeds De Bruyne who shoots from distance and after a small deflection Fabianski makes a good save with his feet.
Close! De Bruyne plays the ball in to Aguero's feet on the edge of the box. He doesn't have much space to work with but pokes the ball with the outside of his right foot, looking for the bottom right corner - it goes narrowly wide.
Huge chance for City! But what is Jesus doing? Silva slips him in and he's one-on-one with the goal keeper, and instead of picking his corner, he hesitates, attempts to go around the 'keeper, and the defenders get back to smother clear.
An early test for Laporte as Antonio chases Rice's looped ball forward. However, the pressure is relieved as the referee spots a slight nudge from Antonio. That's fortunate for the home side as it was surely the wrong call.

Good evening and welcome to our coverage of this Premier League clash between Manchester City and West Ham United, live from The Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City may feel as though they have little to play for as Liverpool don't seem to be slowing down. A win today and they are second, a lose, and they're still second.
West Ham however will be desperate to get something out of this game as they find themselves in the drop zone for the first time this season.
