Will Genia blow for Rebels' SA tour

Melbourne - The Melbourne Rebels will embark on their tour of South Africa without talismanic scrumhalf Will Genia who has suffered a hamstring injury.

Genia limped off in the 50th minute of the Rebels' 25-22 defeat to the Jaguares at AMI Park in Melbourne on Saturday, clutching his hamstring.

Scans have revealed it is a grade one hamstring strain and that the 30-year-old will now miss the matches against the Bulls and the Stormers on April 21 and April 28, respectively.
