Cape Town - Sharks and Springbok back Curwin Bosch is reportedly set for a short-term stint in Japan.
According to SA Rugbymag, Bosch will play for the Munakata Sanix Blues before returning to Durban early next year to join the Sharks in their Super Rugby pre-season preparations.
The two-Test capped Bosch played in South Africa’s first Test of the season - the 22-20 defeat to Wales in Washington DC on June 2 - but has not featured in any other Tests.
The fullback/flyhalf has had an indifferent season and will be looking to regain some form in Japan.
Bosch’s short-term deal follows the announcement earlier this week that his team-mate Robert du Preez would join English club Sale Sharks.
Du Preez played his lone Test in the Washington DC encounter against Wales and will be spending three months at Sale.
Curwin Bosch to end his season in Japan until Super Rugby starts. Sharks going to have a tired squad ??
