Cape Town - The sounds of cheering and song filled the air at OR Tambo International as the Springboks touched down in South Africa and naturally Twitter went into overdrive for the occasion.
The world champions, who demolished England 32-12 in the Rugby World Cup final on Saturday, arrived in groups with World Rugby Player of the Year Pieter-Steph du Toit, livewire scrumhalf Faf de Klerk and reserve flyhalf Elton Jantjies some of the first to make their way through the crowds.
Twitter users were on hand with people posting videos of Bok supporters singing and dancing in jubliation as well as short glimpses of their heroes.

The energy is buzzing, the atmosphere is electrifying. Heroes are made and then they are celebrated. The cup is coming home today and the lion surely shall sleep tonight. Faf met royalty wearing that famous speedo. How is he going to step out of the plane? #SpringboksArrival pic.twitter.com/0mKdL6zm4V
