French Barbarians name strong XV for All Blacks

Cape Town - Toulon flyhalf François Trinh-Duc has been included in the French Barbarians' starting line-up for Tuesday's clash with New Zealand in Lyon.

Trinh-Duc came off the replacements bench during the last five minutes of France's 38-18 defeat to the All Blacks in Paris on Saturday.

The 31-year-old is the only player who represented les Bleus in that Test who will be in action against the world champions again on Tuesday and he has been preferred to Jules Plisson, who has been named among the replacements.

Trinh Duc will form a halfback partnership with Bordeaux Bègles' Yann Lesgourgues while Clermont's Scott Spedding has been named at fullback.

There's a strong look to the Barbarians team with French internationals Romain Taofifenua and Yoann Maestri lining up in the second row while the experienced Wenceslas Lauret starts on the flank.

Kick-off is at 20:30 SA time.
