Cape Town - Moldovan tighthead Gheorghe Gajion stands at 1.90m tall and weighs 133kg - and he will be playing in the PRO14 next year.
According to the RugbyPass website, the 25-year-old has signed for Welsh club Ospreys and will start with his new club at the beginning of the 2018/19 season.
Having played previously in Russia, Italy and France, he will now go up against Tom Botha - who has joined Ospreys from the Cheetahs - for a starting place in the No 3 jersey.
"It’s a huge honour for me to sign for the Ospreys, who are a very big club both in European and world rugby," Gajion, who is being called the 'Beast from the East', said.
"I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my career and I hope I can make my country, my family and the Ospreys supporters proud."
