FULL TIME! 22-23. The Highlaners have pulled it off. To be fair they were the better side in the second half but yet the Brumbies still threw the game away. With 90 seconds left they had a six point lead and just needed to clear but they tried to hold onto possession inside their own 22 and conceded a penalty.

  • 85'

CONVERSION! IOANE! 22-23. The Highlanders snatch it with the last kick of the game. Quite incredible from the visitors and pretty pathetic from the Brumbies.

  • 84'

TRY! HIGHLANDERS! BEN -NICHOLAS! 22-21! The Highlanders have done it, they've scored and to make matters better, it is close to the posts.

  • 83'

We are still playing. Miller has seen yellow and the Highlanders are looking for a winning try.

  • 80'

Brumbies try and rundown the clock inside their own 22 but concede a penalty. Highlanders have a line-out 5 meters out as the clock turns red.

  • 78'

Highlanders in possession inside the Brumbies 22. Nareki finds space but his offload finds touch. Slightly further back at the Highlanders were over in the corner. So close!

  • 75'

PENALTY! BRUMBIES! LONERGAN! 22-16. The Brumbies extend their lead to six points. Is there a way back this time for the Highlanders?

  • 72'

Ioane missed the kick from in front. It was about 35 meters out but he really should be nailing that.

  • 71'

Penalty to the Highlanders. Right in front, can Ioane level the scores again? Poor discipline from the hosts again.

  • 69'

CONVERSION! LONEGRAN! 19-16. As the rain starts bucketing down at the Gio Stadium Lolesio sinks a beauty of a kick from the right hand touchline.

  • 68'

TRY! BRUMBIES! FAINGA'A! 17-16. Fainga'a from the maul again as he crosses for his hat trick! 5th try of the season already.

  • 66'

Penalty to the Brumbies. They are going for touch again and will hope their maul can work once again.

  • 64'

Brumbies have a scrum on the Highlanders 22, centre field. They need to make this count.

  • 62'

Brumbies win a penalty on their own 22. Huge relief for the host but that they need to get some momentum.

  • 59'

Brumbies clear their lines but the Highlanders have a line-out inside their half. Somehow the hosts need to find some territory.

  • 57'

Lolesio knocks the ball on from a kick inside his own 22 and the Highlanders are back to 15 players. Highlanders can really turn the screw here.

  • 54'

Poor discipline from the Brumbies again as they obstruct a kick chase from the Highlanders. The visitors are being handed this match on a platter through ridiculous decisions by the Brumbies.

  • 52'

Highlanders deep inside Brumbies territory now but they hand the Brumbies an easy out via a penalty. The hosts have not had a good second half thus far.

  • 49'

Brumbies need to make these next six minutes count against 14 men. Good attacking opportunity for the hosts but a forward pass brings another stop to the game. Highlanders will be more than happy with this.

  • 46'

Brilliant defence from the Highlanders! First they defend the maul superbly and then win a penalty beneath their own posts. Big play that.

  • 45'

Brumbies on attack and the game is stopped. We are going upstairs for a no arms tackle against Tomkinson.

  • 45'

YELLOW CARD for Tomkinson! He is in the bin for 10 minutes but he is a lucky man. Could easily have been red.

  • 43'

PENALTY! HIGHLANDERS! IOANE! 12-16. Ioane sinks a penalty from in front, 37 meters out

  • 41'

KICK OFF! 12-13. The Highlanders kick deep and the hosts clear towards halfway after setting up a ruck.

  • 40'

HALF TIME! 12-13. The half time whistle goes with the Highlanders in the lead. At 12-3 down things were looking bleak for the visitors but a great final few minutes gives them the lead.

  • 40'

It has been a scrappy game with both sides committing numerous offenses at the breakdown. Neither backline has really fired in slippery conditions but the forward packs look very well matched.

  • 40'

The Brumbies will want to tighten up in the second half but will need to be far better tactically. Their kicking has been poor thus far. Territory will be key in the second stanza.

  • 39'

PENALTY! HIGHLANDERS! IOANE! 12-13. The Highlanders regain the lead just before the break. It has been a brilliant last five minutes from the visitors.

  • 38'

Nareki goes short side from the scrum and chips ahead. Lolesio collects but the Highlanders win a turnover on the Brumbies 5m line. The hosts go offside and Ioane will kick for goal.

  • 36'

Highlanders with a scrum midway between the Brumbies 10 and 22m line. Can they create something from this?

  • 33'

CONVERSION! IOANE! 12-10. We are back to a two point ball game.

  • 32'

TRY! HIGHLANDERS! NAREKI! 12-8. Straight from the kick off Nareki gets the charge down and scores!

  • 31'

CONVERSION! LOLESIO! 12-3. Superb kick to add the extras.

  • 30'

TRY! BRUMBIES! FAINGA'A! 10-3. The maul works a treat again. Highlanders defend it well initially but the Brumbies regroup and get over the line.

  • 29'

Brumbies get the maul going but the Highlanders bring it down. Another penalty and the Highlanders are on a warning.

  • 27'

Kickable penalty to the Brumbies but they go for the touchline again. Will Fainga'a be in action again?

  • 26'

Highlanders concede a penalty on the Brumbies 22. Both sides have been very scrappy at the breakdown which is making for a stop-start game. The wet field isn't helping the cause.

  • 24'

Brumbies are not doing well under the high ball which is giving the Highlanders great field position. Hosts have to clear from their 5m line once again.

  • 23'

Brumbies win a crucial turnover inside their own 22 and Powell clears towards halfway.

  • 21'

Highlanders are just being over-zealous at the breakdown. Already three penalties conceded at defensive breakdowns which has broken their early momentum.

  • 19'

Brumbies on attack just outside the Highladers 22 but the ball is lost forward. Highlanders clear up field, advantage is called over. Brumbies win a penalty on their own 22 at the ruck.

  • 13'

Lolesio is wide with his conversion.
