Coach Rob du Preez has come under fire for his selection as his son starts at flyhalf ahead of Curwin Bosch who moves to full-back at the expense of Aphelele Fassi. Tyler Paul comes in for flank Jean-Luc du Preez and Hyron Andrews starts at No 4 in place of Ruben van Heerden.
The Jaguares have won seven of their last eight Super Rugby games, including their last three on the bounce whilst the Sharks have lost just one match away from home this season which was against the Chiefs.
