Free State Cheetahs ? 15 Adriaan Carelse, 14 Ali Mgijima, 13 Carel-Jan Coetzee, 12 Tertius Kruger, 11 Lloyd Greeff, 10 Louis Fouce, 9 Rudy Paige (c), 8 Niell Jordaan, 7 Stephan Malan, 6 Abongile Nonkontwana, 5 Dennis Visser, 4 Louis Conradie, 3 Gunther Janse van Vuuren, 2 Reinach Venter, 1 Kevin Stevens.
Subs: 16 Jannes Snyman, 17 Johan Kotze, 18 Luigi van Jaarsveld, 19 Nardus Erasmus, 20 Dian Badenhorst, 21 Vuyani Maqina, 22 Reinhart Erwee.
The Free State XV have tried to keep continuity in their young side by only making the one enforced change with Abongile Nonkontwana, for the former Bulls player, coming in for Gerhard Olivier who has joined the Cheetahs squad in Wales.
The Lions have rested Springbok Andries Coetzee for this match with Sylvian Mahuza moving from wing to fullback and Madosh Tambwe comes in on the wing. Peter Jansen also comes into the starting lineup at hooker.
The Cheetahs come into this fixture under pressure to win if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, but having suffered three defeats from their first three games and only gained two bonus points, they sit bottom after the Griquas' impressive showing a little earlier.
The Lions however will see this as a fixture where they should collect a full house of points, which could also take them to the top of the log. Despite resting Coetzee, they still boast a lineup with three Springboks in Skosan, Orrie and Mapoe.
Our referee for today will be AJ Jacobs and he'll be assisted by Stephan Geldenhuys and Eduan Nel on the touchlines, and Lesego Legoete as the TMO.
The weather looks fantastic for some running rugby and both these teams love giving the ball some air, so lets hope both teams can perform at a good level.
