Late changes to Free State's Currie Cup line-up

Bloemfontein - Free State Cheetahs coach Daan Human has been forced to make late changes to his team ahead of Saturday’s Currie Cup clash against Griquas in Kimberley.

Human named his side on Thursday but the Cheetahs announced on Friday that injuries to their PRO14 side forced the Currie Cup team to change.

Prop Gunther Janse van Vuuren is called up to the PRO14 side which sees Stephan van Schalkwyk take the No 3 jersey.

Lock Dennis Visser is also called up to the PRO14 ranks, which sees Abongile Nonkontwana move from flank to lock and Louis Conradie moving from No 4 to No 5.

Nardus Erasmus comes into the starting XV at No 7 flank in place of Nonkontwana.

Utility back Ryno Eksteen was also called up to the PRO14 team and his place on the bench is taken by Reinhardt Erwee.

Free State are bottom of the Currie Cup log having lost all four of their matches so far in 2018, while Griquas have lost three from three.
