Cape Town - Sri Lankan star Thisara Perera may be a fierce Proteas competitor on the field, but he is far more relaxed off of it.
Perera played a massive part in Sri Lanka's victory in the rain-affected 4th ODI in Kandy on Wednesday, scoring 51* (45) to help his side set 306/7 in 39 overs before he chipped in with 2/32 in 4 overs with the ball as the hosts won by 3 runs (D/L).
It was Sri Lanka's first win of the series and they now go into the 5th and final ODI in Colombo on Sunday 3-1 down.
But while it has been a hard battle on the field, the sides seem to get on well behind the scenes.
Perera posted a photograph to his Twitter page on Thursday that showed him spending the night with a number of Proteas.
Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, David Miller, Aiden Markram and Tabraiz Shamsi can all be seen.
"Had such a great evening hanging out with these amazing people," Perera wrote.
Sunday's match gets underway at 11:00 (SA time).
