Cape Town - South Africa's Kevin Anderson is through to the second round at Wimbledon after beating 35-year old Spanish veteran, Fernando Verdasco in four sets, 2-6, 7-6, 7-6 and 6-3.
Anderson, who was beaten in the first round in 2016, will be looking to beat his best result at the tournament.
The big serving right-hander managed to get to the fourth round in both 2014 and 2015.
He now has a 10-8 win/loss record at SW17.
