Anderson cruises into Wimbledon third round

Cape Town - South Africa's Kevin Anderson has cruised into the third round at Wimbledon after defeating Andreas Seppi of Italy in three sets on Wednesday.

The big serving Anderson proved too strong for the Italian, cruising to a 6-3, 7-6 (7/4), 6-3 victory in and hour and 43 minutes. 

Earlier in the week, Anderson beat Spain's Fernando Verdasco in the first round.

Anderson's best ever result at Wimbledon came in 2014 and 2015 when he managed to reach the fourth round at the tournament.

He has now improved his overall Wimbledon win/loss record to 11-8.
