Serena retains top spot

Berlin - Serena Williams of the United States has retained top spot in the latest world rankings release by the WTA on Monday.

Williams, on 9 660 points, has a lead of 2 210 over second placed Li Na of China.

The top 10 is unchanged heading into Wimbledon, the third grand slam of the year, though Ana Ivanovic moved up two places to 11th.
