London - Czech 23rd seed Lucie Safarova reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the first time on Monday with a 6-0, 6-2 win over compatriot, Tereza Smitkova.
Safarova will face either Polish fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska, the 2012 runner-up, or Russia's Ekaterina Makarova, the 22nd seed, for a place in the semi-finals.
