Halep into Wimbledon Last 16

London - Third seed Simona Halep of Romania reached the Wimbledon Last 16 on Saturday with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Swiss teenager Belinda Bencic.

Halep, the French Open runner-up, will face either Russia's Vera Zvonareva or Kazakh qualifier Zarina Diyas for a place in the quarter-finals.
