Budapest - Belgian top seed Alison Van Uytvanck successfully defended her WTA Tour Budapest title by fighting back to beat Czech Marketa Vondrousova 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 on Sunday.
The 24-year-old, ranked 50th in the world rankings, has now won three WTA titles in total.
Van Uytvanck had only won two matches all year before this week, but capped a fine tournament with a battling victory despite being broken four times in the opening set.
