Cape Town - Former tennis star Anna Kournikova and her pop star partner Enrique Iglesias are proud parents to twins, reports say, after keeping the pregnancy secret.
According to the Stuff website, Kournikova, 36, and Iglesias, 42, welcomed the babies during the weekend, multiple sources state.
The pregnancy and birth come as a huge surprise to both stars' fans as no one but close friends and family even knew the former tennis ace was expecting.
Sources told TMZ that Kournikova gave birth to a baby boy and a girl on Saturday in Miami and the newborns' names are Nicholas and Lucy, but this has not been confirmed by the new parents or any of their representatives, who have keep the news from the media for much of 2017.
Kournikova and Iglesias have been together since 2001.
Kournikova retired from the WTA Tour in 2007 having failed to win a Grand Slam singles title.
Her best result was a semi-final appearance on her debut at Wimbledon in 1997, when, as a 15-year-old, she rewrote the record books in being the youngest to ever do so.
Kournikova did win two Grand Slam doubles titles - at the 1999 and 2002 Australian Opens - when partnering Switzerland's Martina Hingis.
