Azarenka still No 1

Berlin - Victoria Azarenka begins the defence of her Australian Open title top of the women's rankings released Monday by the WTA.

The Belarussian slips slightly to 10 325 points ahead of Russia's Maria Sharapova, who stays on 10 045, and Serena Williams of the United States, who remains on 9 750 in an unchanged top 10.
