Anderson ousted by Cilic

New York - Kevin Anderson's US Open campaign ended on Sunday when he was beaten in four sets by Croatia's Marin Cilic.

The 14th seed won their third round clash 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Cilic now holds a 5-1 head-to-head advantage over the South African No 1.

Cilic will next face Frenchman Gilles Simon in the Round of 16.
