Three fans injured at Roland Garros

Paris - Security guards and other personnel have moved about 200 spectators after a panel fell down while they were watching the quarter-final match between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Kei Nishikori.

Initial reports said three spectators were apparently slightly injured.

The spectators were sitting under the giant TV screen when a panel fell down in strong winds on the French Open centre court during the match on Tuesday.   The personnel were also cordoning off the seating area with red and white tape.

A man is also inspecting the back of the giant screen, used to project match scores and television highlights.

Nishikori and Tsonga have since resumed their match.
