Paris - Second seed Roger Federer reached the French Open quarter-finals for the 11th time on Monday with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over France's Gael Monfils.
Federer, the 2009 champion, will face Swiss Davis Cup team-mate Stan Wawrinka for a place in the semi-finals.
