Cape Town- Roger Federer won his 20th Grand Slam on Sunday, claiming the his sixth Australian Open in an epic encounter with Marin Cilic.
In a match lasting over three hours, 36-year-old Federer prevailed 6-2, 6-7 (5/7), 6-3, 3-6, 6-1.
And South Africa's Kevin Anderson quickly tweeted his congratulations.

Anderson, who lost in the final of the US Open to Rafael Nadal in 2017 didn't fare as well in Melbourne, losing to Kyle Edmund, the world No 49, who came from two sets to one down to beat Anderson 6-7 (4/7), 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.
Edmund then went on a deep run in the tournament before losing in the semi-finals to Cilic.
