Paris - Matteo Berrettini, ranked 55th in the world, won his second ATP title on Sunday when he beat 105th-ranked Filip Krajinovic 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the Budapest final.
None of the top four seeds survived to the semi-finals in the clay-court tournament. Berrettini, a 1.96-metre Italian, was unseeded while his Serbian opponent reached the main draw as a qualifier.
The 23-year-old's previous title was also on clay in Gstaad in 2018. He follows compatriot Marco Cecchinato as Budapest champion.
