Nishikori into Indian Wells quarter-finals

Indian Wells - Fourth-seeded Kei Nishikori of Japan reached the quarter-finals of the ATP Indian Wells Masters for the second straight year on Wednesday with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Donald Young.

Nishikori, a two-time finalist this year seeking his first title of 2017, had to dig himself out of a 4-1 hole in the second set, but won the last five games to wrap it up in two.

He next faces either 17th-seeded Jack Sock of the United States or Tunisia's Malek Jaziri.
