Nadal brushes past Murray at ATP finals

London - Rafael Nadal won his second straight match at the ATP finals, beating Andy Murray 6-4, 6-1 Wednesday to close in on a spot in the semi-finals of the season-ending tournament.

Nadal has been having one of the worst years of his career with 19 losses so far, but his game has improved since the U.S. Open, when he lost in the third round.

The second-seeded Murray was having his own problems at the O2 Arena on Wednesday, struggling with both his serve and his hair.

During one changeover in the first set, Murray pulled out a pair of scissors and gave himself a little trim.

It didn't help too much, though. Nadal broke Murray to end the first set, and then again early in the second to take control.
