Anderson tackles Dimitrov in Stockholm

Cape Town - South Africa’s Kevin Anderson will tackle Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals of the Stockholm Open on Friday.

The South African No 1 defeated American qualifier Ryan Harrison 7-6 (10/8), 6-4 on Thursday, while second-seeded Dimitrov defeated Estonia’s Jurgen Zopp 6-3, 6-2.

Dimitrov takes a 5-1 winning head-to-head record into his game against world No 48 Anderson.

Dimitrov told the ATP’s official website: “I have to play every day now, so I must stay focused. Kevin is an extremely good player, serves unbelievably well and as it’s indoors it will come down to a matter of a few points.”
