Anderson reaches final in Acapulco

Cape Town - South Africa's Kevin Anderson has reached the final of the Mexican Open in Acapulco.

Anderson defeated America's Jared Donaldson 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in their semi-final clash to reach his third final of the season.

The world No 8 won the New York Open last month and also reached the final at the Maharashtra Open in Pune, India earlier in January.

In the final, Anderson will face Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro, who defeated Germany's Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-2 in their semi-final clash.

Anderson will be gunning for his fifth career ATP title.
