Cape Town - South African tennis star Kevin Anderson will team up with Novak Djokovic in the doubles event of this week’s Rogers Cup in Toronto.
The duo contested the Wimbledon men’s singles final last month, with Djokovic winning in straight-sets 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7/3).
Anderson and Djokovic will play the Canadian duo of Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime in their first round match on Monday.
South Africa’s Raven Klaasen and his New Zealand partner Michael Venus, who were runners-up at Wimbledon, are also participating.
They will face South Korea’s Chung Hyeon and America’s Steve Johnson in the first round.
Anderson is the fourth seed in the singles event and has a bye in the first round.
