SA draw Monaco in Davis Cup

Johannesburg - South Africa were relegated to the Davis Cup Euro/Africa Group II after being thrashed 5-0 by Russia in the Group I Relegation Play-Off tie in Moscow at the weekend.

South Africa on Monday were seeded in Group II and would host Monaco from January 31 to February 2, 2014.

The two sides had played each other twice before, with South Africa winning both ties.

South Africa won 5-0 in 1967 and 3-2 in 2008.
