Stockholm - Third-seeded Jerzy Janowicz of Poland has breezed into the Stockholm Open quarter-finals by beating Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 6-2, 6-1 on Wednesday.
The Wimbledon semi-finalist broke Garcia-Lopez, who struggled with back pains, four times.
Also, sixth-seeded Benoit Paire of France defeated Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain 6-4, 6-4, and Jarkko Nieminen of Finland opened his title bid with a win against Benjamin Becker of Germany 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (3).
Other first-round winners were Fernando Verdasco of Spain, and Kenny De Schepper of France.
