Paris - French world No 12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won't return to the tour until mid-March after failing to recover from the right arm injury suffered in November's Davis Cup final.

"My injury, it's not going well. I need a little more rest and I think I won't be back on the courts for a month and a half, not before," said Tsonga.

After missing the Australian Open, the 29-year-old could be back in time for the season's opening Masters events, at Indian Wells (March 12-22) and Miami (March 25-April 5).
