Pirates set to add Bloem Celtic star to their ranks

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates are reportedly set to sign Bloemfontein Celtic forward Kabelo Dlamini in a swap deal involving two unnamed players.

Dlamini enjoyed a successful 2018/19 campaign where he scored five goals and recorded two assists in 29 Premiership appearances.

The Stars of Africa youth product is said to join the Sea Robbers with two unnamed Bucs stars going the other way.

A source told KickOff: "There are two other clubs that are interested but the Pirates offer is too good to resist.

"The deal could be concluded in the next few days."

Pirates are set to release some players in the squad including Thabo Matlaba and Diamond Thopola before the start of 2019/20.

The Buccaneers are also said to be close to unveiling Maritzburg United's Fortune Makaringe and Siphesihle Ndlovu as new players.
