Cape Town - Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is believed to have missed out on Germany's 23-man World Cup squad due to his poor attitude.
The Sun reports that head coach Joachim Loew was left unimpressed by the 22-year-old's attitude during a recent training camp. With the player also putting in a less than impressive performance in a World Cup warm-up game against Austria on Saturday.
Loew decided to leave Sane out of his final squad for the sake of team morale and at the risk of possibly upsetting other members of his squad.
A change in Sane's attitude was noticed by the coaching staff in team meetings with the player coming off of winning the English Premiership with City and being named the PFA's Young Player of the Year.
The defending world champions included goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in their final squad, even though he has only just returned from a long-term absence through injury.
