AWKWARD! Fan gets tattoo declaring England as World Cup winners

Cape Town - A supremely confident England fan has had a tattoo declaring the country as the 2018 Soccer World Cup winners etched onto his stomach - three weeks before the tournament's July 15 final!

The potential embarrassment aside, hats off to him!

England face a Round of 16 clash against Colombia on Tuesday, July 3 at 20:00 (SA time).

Should they win that match, it's either Sweden or Switzerland in the quarter-finals for Gareth Southgate's side.

Win that and the 52-year wait for a second World Cup title will only be two victories away...
