Johannesburg - SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana defender Bongani Khumalo will be attending trials at Tottenham Hotspur in England next month.
The player, who did very well in his first Soccer World Cup in June, has attracted interest from a number of European clubs, but the player has his eye on the English Premiership.
The player’s agent Glyn Binkin told the Siya crew that they are just waiting to finalise the date the player can leave.
“It is almost done, though we do not have the date right now. I’m just waiting for Stan Matthews to return from the USA, where he has been for the last week, to finalise the date for Khumalo’s trials in England,” Binkin said.
Khumalo, together with his team-mate Morgan Gould, have been solid in defence at the three-time PSL league winners and have attracted interests from Europe and top local clubs like Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
