The whole week has been great, the feeling is here, and it’s almost our time, Africa time.
The thing that bothers me and I'm surprised no one noticed, is that our national flag is not shown in the music video.
Yes, maybe I'm over reacting, or maybe I'm foolish, but SA is not featured in the video at all.
I can see our local band Freshly Ground, but just for a few minutes.
Africa is part of us yes, showing African players in video is fine, but not showing our past players who participated in the World Cup before and not showing our flag ones is too much.
I refuse to believe they never once thought about it.
The WC is happening, and yes it is a FIFA World Cup, hosted by SA, but come now, we are the host who is carrying and will be carrying all the burdens attached, at least give us our pride, our flag.
