Unions 'holding us hostage'

accreditation
Dear Editor,

From the two-year-olds to Octogenarians, everyone loves the historic moment that our country is enjoying or about to enjoy. From house rooftops to cyclists on the road, everyone is displaying the rainbow flag.

This is a moment we have all been waiting for. From blowing vuvuzelas to wearing our Makarapas, we are truly united behind this.

But amidst our joy, we have been disturbed by striking unions who wants to show their muscles by holding us hostage.

Cosatu has been using this opportunity to try and show the ANC that they can also call the shots. Numsa at Eskom is also not showing any mercy. But they should know that Africans don't mind celebrating in the dark.

If they want to go on strike, let them use the idiotic excuse of "our constitution allows strike". We can’t let them do this to us.

FEEL IT, IT IS HERE!
