Dear Editor,
Bafana Bafana can keep their heads up very high and be very proud of their display yesterday and throughout the tournament thus far, truly they never disgraced themselves in any way.
As for the Uruguay match, they never pitched up mentally and when that happens you can get a drubbing like they got 3-0.
The opening match against Mexico, Bafana should have won, but they were too nervous. In my opinion, nerves got to them.
Against France yesterday they displayed true guts, determination, passion and ultimately unlucky as many South Africans would say this morning.
Doom and gloom the air may feel, the exuberance of vuvuzelas may lessen, but hey Bafana you made us proud.
May the best team win the World Cup, may fair play be the order of the next few weeks in what is so far one of the greatest World Cups so far. Africa and South Africa can be proud of their ability to showpiece the best sporting occasion in the world.
