Dear Editor,
It comes as no shock to see the exclusion of our infamous prodigal child, our one and only Benni “superstar ” McCarthy.
My observation and satisfaction goes deeper than his being excluded. Why I say that is simple - SAFA has now sent a strong message to the upcoming youngsters, who in future will be awarded the opportunity to plough their trade for the major European countries.
He continuously disrespected us as a nation by snubbing the national team and making a total mockery of our country’s association. He made his thorny bed and now he has to lie in it, it might prove uncomfortable at first but it sure as hell will need some getting used to
No individual is greater than the country.
Well done SAFA and all those involved.
