FIFA world ranking May 2010: 26

How they qualified: Denmark finished top of Group One with six wins, three draws and one defeat, evoking memories of the Euro 1992-winning team. The campaign included 1-0 victories home and away against arch-rivals Sweden and a 3-2 win in Portugal.

Prospects: The Danes surprised many with their strength in qualifying despite being dogged by injuries. They have enough fire-power and talent to get past the group stages.
