Costa Rica lose Miller

Cape Town - Costa Rica will have to do without defender Roy Miller for their quarter-final against the Netherlands due to injury.

The full-back injured a muscle in his leg during training on Tuesday and will be sidelined for the immediate future.

"The injury will keep him off the pitch for several days,” the Costa Rica Football Association
said in a statement.

The 29-year-old’s absence is compounded by Oscar Duarte
’s suspension, with the defender having been sent off during his side's last-16 victory over Greece.
