Cape Town - Having made 37 appearances for Arsenal this past season, scoring seven goals and a tally of eleven assists for the London club, the Mesut Ozil has been the topic of conversation for German supporters.
His compatriot, Jerome Boateng does not understand why the midfielder has had to endure so much criticism from Nationalelf's supporters.
Germany produced an uninspired performance during their international friendly against Cameroon at the weekend, and Ozil was subsequently singled out for his part in the poor showing.
"I don't get it, I can't understand it," said Boateng of the criticism towards his team-mate.
"Maybe it's better those people don't show up in the stadium at all," added the Bayern Munich defender.
