VV to shake up Pirates

Cape Town - According to KickOff website, Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic said he will make changes in his team to play Bidvest Wits on Wednesday night as he casts an eye to the Nedbank Cup semi-final against Maritzburg United this weekend.

Bucs take a short trip to Bidvest Stadium for their match against the Students hoping for maximum points to keep their place in the top eight.

Thabo Matlaba and Lennox Bacela are players who could be rested as they are a booking away from suspension.

“We will change a couple of players for the match against Wits, not just because of preparations for the match against Maritzburg United in the cup,” Vermezovic explained.

Kick-off at the Bidvest Stadium is at 19:30.
