The side will be led by the experienced Rio Ferdinand, who was handed the captaincy for the tour, while fellow veterans Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick will also be in attendance.

United will take on AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday before squaring up against Ajax at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Where is Rooney, Nani, Giggs, huh?

      betsy.dorris - 2012-07-16 15:48

Rooney is probably drinking Stella Artois and beating his wife, Nani is crying because Portugal got booted from the Euro and Giggs is in a wheelchair receiving oxygen ;)

Rooney and Nani will not fly down due to their participation in the Euro cup.....Giggs will be in the GB Oylimpic team so he wont make it

wheres Nani and Rooney,Amazulu 2-0 Man u,Ajax 3-1 Man u.why the so-called big clubs everytime they come to SA leaves big stars behind. If they lose against either of this PSL clubs, they must forget about winning the EPL this coming season.#angry#

This is just warm up games for UTD...a time for them to try out their new signings and young players for the season to come....they dont need to prove a ppoint to anyone by bringing all their big players down for no sure they have proven their point along time ago...SA should be grateful to see the new signingd and players in action because these will be the up and coming stars of the future...and we got to see them first.....but some people as i can see just dont get it!!

Tell us how do you know that it is a third string team if there are lot of youngsters and new signings in the squad. Do you know that Giggs,Beckham,Scholes, Butt and others came out to RSA as youngsters with United years ago, before they became famous. Oops you did not know. Tell us which League you do like and why. There are only two teams on the Spanish "league" so it cannot be called a league.
