Tragedy strikes Malesela and TS Galaxy again

Cape Town - TS Galaxy have confirmed that coach Dan Malesela's son, Katlego, passed away in Qatar over the weekend.

Galaxy as a club are enduring a tough time since winning the Nedbank Cup over Kaizer Chiefs as they lost Thembinkosi Mbamba in a car accident.

There are no details available about what transpired regarding how the 32-year-old sadly passed away, though he was in Qatar when it took place.

Malesela's son was a fashion designer and seemed to have a bright future ahead in Western Asia.

The club's official Twitter account passed on their condolences over the loss, tweeting: "We are saddened to announce the passing of our Head Coach’s eldest son, Katlego Tumediso Malesela (32), who passed on last Saturday while on duty outside the country.

"Our sincere condolences to the Malesela family - you are in our prayers. Further details will be made available."
