The Premier Soccer League announced on Monday night that the two clubs will face each other in Durban on September 29.
It will be for the second successive year that Matsatsantsa come up against the Citizens in the final of the MTN8 at the same venue. The Tshwane outfit won it on penalties in last year's edition of the tournament.
"It's a good venue and we are happy to go there. I hope we repeat last season and it's very refreshing as well to go to Durban," Tembo told SABC.
"I think the boys and the team would love to go to Durban. At this age, you have to play anywhere. If you really want to go and lift the trophy, you should be comfortable to play anyone and play anywhere.
"That is very important. I think we have the mentality and the attitude especially with the players that we have and the experience to go to Durban and get the result.
"The other thing is that there are teams in Durban and we are used to playing all over South Africa. I think whether it's the inland or coastal, we are used to playing in such conditions. It's a fair venue for both teams."
